We offer the highest level of support, but don't just take our word for it. Below are recent reviews from customers who bought a funeral with us.
At Distinct Cremations, we take pride in providing a personal and dignified service for every single family who needs our services during their time of need.
Below are a selection of reviews from some of those families who've had a direct cremation or an attended cremation service carried out by Distinct Cremations.
"Easy to use and very helpful. Very easy to use their services and always called with updates. Sorry to say I've had to use their services twice now and I've already booked my own service. On both times I've used this service I've been kept informed by calls to everything going on. All my requests were made to feel like no trouble whatsoever, happy to help attitude made what was a very emotional time pass with no problems. Thank you to all the teams involved."
"This was our first experience of using a direct cremation service and we weren't sure what to expect. We were guided through the process by our own personal assistant who explained our options. Once we had made a decision on the type of service we wanted she advised us what we needed to do at every step of the way. She kept in regular contact to make sure we were happy and to answer any questions we had. The end-to-end service was very efficient and clearly explained by sensitive staff who were always available to answer any questions. We would highly recommend Distinct Cremations. We opted for a short attended service at the crematorium, which was perfect for our small family and gave us the opportunity to say our final goodbyes to Mum. We chose three songs and a recording to be played during our allotted time-slot. An attendant was present throughout, showing us into the chapel and remaining discreetly at the back during the service. We did not feel rushed and felt we could have stayed longer if we'd wanted. A couple of weeks later, Mum's ashes were delivered directly to our home, which was all part of the service provided by Distinct Cremations."
"An amazing company. From my first contact with Maxine I have received the most considerate, kind, helpful and supportive service I could wish for. She has been there at every step, always ready to answer my questions and keep me informed of what is happening. A great service for those who want to have a celebration of life, without all the fuss of a normal funeral service."
"I have lost two dear friends in the past year that lived on their own like myself. The difference though is that they were totally alone on this world with no family and asked me if I would see that they got buried. In both cases I had to take care of everything suddenly as both were total unexpected deaths. The affordability is a big factor for me as I had to suddenly pay for these cremations. One does not want to talk money at times like this, but one has to be realistic. One died in hospital and the other was so sudden that there was a post mortem done. The help and support I received was phenomenal. In both cases my friends were fetched from where they were and it was all sorted by Distinct Cremations personnel themselves. I can only say that I have just paid for my own cremation too and feel very relieved that it would make things so much easier for my children that live all over the world. I can really recommend making a timely decision about what happens after you die. This will bring immense peace of mind to yourself and your loved ones that stay behind."
Unfortunately we can’t transfer funeral plans from a different company to ourselves. However, you can simply cancel your existing funeral plan and take out a new one with us if you want to.
