"This was our first experience of using a direct cremation service and we weren't sure what to expect. We were guided through the process by our own personal assistant who explained our options. Once we had made a decision on the type of service we wanted she advised us what we needed to do at every step of the way. She kept in regular contact to make sure we were happy and to answer any questions we had. We opted for a short attended service at the crematorium, which was perfect for our small family and gave us the opportunity to say our final goodbyes to Mum. We chose three songs and a recording to be played during our allotted time-slot. An attendant was present throughout, showing us into the chapel and remaining discreetly at the back during the service. We did not feel rushed and felt we could have stayed longer if we'd wanted. A couple of weeks later, Mum's ashes were delivered directly to our home, which was all part of the service provided by Distinct Cremations."
