Really easy to set up and pay for in instalments.

During this difficult time the staff at Distinct Cremations have been exemplary. They provided an immediate considerate service, kept me well updated at every point. I had a problem with the doctor’s certificate and they even contacted the surgery on my behalf multiple times to resolve the issue. The ashes were returned promptly with lots of notice by a member of their own team. Honestly I can’t recommend them enough, they served my dad with dignity. Then unfortunately only a few months later they help me arrange my mums cremation, going back to the same company speaks volumes and Maxine helped me through every step.

From beginning to end I was shown nothing but kindness by my contact in the company. I cannot recommend Sarah Miller enough, she was extremely helpful and compassionate throughout the loss of my Mother. I was kept aware of any development throughout the process, which is obviously trying enough as it is. Having had a not particularly good service from the so-called most popular company in this field when I lost my father, I cannot recommend Distinct Cremation highly enough. Reasonable prices and all round excellent service, and I would not hesitate to recommend Distinct to friends and family.

Sadly, we have had to use the services of Distinct Cremations for both parents in the space of 7 months. At first we were wary of the concept that our parents had proposed, but the team was so respectful and our mothers cremation went like clockwork; everything was advised in advance and actioned as advised. When our father passed away in December, we had already agreed that we would use the same service for Dad. Everyone from the initial call, the private ambulance collection team, the personal attention from Maxine and the kindness and respectfulness of John, when he carried Dad's ashes to our door, were all superb. Having had a very stressful 2024, I cannot recommend Distinct Cremations highly enough for taking away one of the most foreboding duties during a very difficult time for us. They are great people with the sensitivity and kindness that is in rare supply these days but they seem to have bucket loads of it!
