When you buy a plan with Distinct Cremations, the services you pay for are guaranteed to be delivered with nothing more to pay. That means that if costs rise in the future, your family won’t have to pay more.

One of the options available for a funeral plan in [location] is a direct cremation funeral plan. Direct cremations are unattended cremations that take place without friends and family attending the service. A direct cremation funeral plan could be right for you if you dislike traditional funerals or would like your loved ones to come together and remember your life in a different way instead.

At Distinct Cremations, we care for your loved one at each step of the cremation process. We swiftly and safely transport them to our state-of-the-art mortuary and offer round-the-clock guidance to help you with the necessary forms. At the cremation, your loved one's coffin is taken through the chapel while your chosen song is played. Afterwards, we can return the ashes to you or scatter them in our garden of remembrance.

Cremation service lengths can vary depending on the type of farewell you would like. With our attended cremation services, we offer two service lengths. You can choose to have a service lasting for either 30 or 60 minutes. The time can be used to share memories of your loved one, play a piece of music in honour of the deceased, give a eulogy or simply have a moment of quiet reflection.

For an unattended cremation, there’s no service held before the cremation takes place.

Plans can be transferred upon request for those who've paid for a plan over 12 months or in one single payment. Unfortunately, we cannot transfer plans paid over 5 or 10 years to another person.

At Distinct Cremations, you can opt for a direct cremation plan without a funeral service or as an alternative low-cost option we also offer cremation plans with a service. Our funeral plans are designed to cater to your wishes and an Direct Cremation Plan is our cheapest prepaid cremation option.

An oversized coffin is for individuals who are too big for the average coffin width of 24 inches, 76 inches in length and 14 inches in depth. If the deceased is over 22 stone or 6 ft 5 or over, then an oversized coffin will be needed.

Direct cremations are simpler and more affordable than traditional funerals. Choosing not to have an attended funeral avoids the cost and fuss of a funeral procession and service. Instead, a separate memorial can be arranged at a more personal venue.
