If you are paying for your plan in up to 12 instalments, your nominated representative will need to pay the outstanding amount due.

If you are paying over 5 or 10 years and death occurs after 12 months and your monthly instalments are up to date, no further payment will need to be made.

If you are paying over 5 or 10 years and death occurs within 12 months of the start date of your plan, your nominated representative will need to pay the difference between the amount already paid and the single payment plan price at the time you took out your plan. If death occurs within 12 months of the start date of the plan as the result of accidental death, no further payment will need to be made.

We will provide a qualified celebrant or officiant from our approved network to conduct the funeral service. The celebrant cost is included as part of our Funeral Service Plan.

If the person arranging the funeral would like a specific celebrant, we might be able to cover the cost of this too, but there may be additional fees to pay directly to the celebrant if they are not part of our network.

A funeral plan lets you choose and pay for a funeral ahead of time. Planning your own funeral protects your family from funeral costs and ensures your wishes are known for the type of funeral you'd like. If you're going to be the one making funeral arrangements for someone else in future, you can also take out a funeral plan for them for peace of mind.

When the time comes we'll carry out every part of the process and deliver the ashes to your family at no extra cost. Our funeral plans include cremation, fees, collection, care, return of the ashes and much more. Yes, this is known as unattended or direct cremation and it is an affordable option for anyone who wishes his loved one to be cremated without the fuss of a full funeral service.

No matter where you are in Great Britain, our friendly and experienced team can help arrange a direct cremation near you. We will collect your loved one, bring them into our care, carry out the cremation and scatter the ashes at the crematorium or personally return them within 14 days, all whilst maintaining that human touch enveloped with compassion. While we endeavour to cremate the deceased as soon as possible following the service this isn't always possible. However, the cremation is always completed with 24-hours of arrival at the crematorium. Learn more about how long after death is a cremation.

Prepaid funeral plans are the perfect way to secure a low-cost, respectful, meaningful funeral that can be paid off monthly for up to 10 years. For example, Distinct Cremations offers direct cremation funeral plans that are available on monthly payment plans for 12 months, 5 years or 10 years.

The team have been amazing during dealing with the death of two family members in a very short period of time . We dealt mainly with Yasmin who has been do helpful and understanding during our time of loss. As result of the service provided during this time further family members have decided to proceed with booking such services for themselves for the future.

From my first interaction requesting a guide to my conversation with Sophie, I cannot fault the service I've received. All my questions have been answered in a way that I can understand what I am being offered and what I have asked for. All processes and procedures have been explained and I have been given ample time to research other possible companies and I haven't felt pressurised or been given the 'hard sale'. On the service i have received so far I would highly recommend them to family and friends

I had no idea where to go when my mum passed away. We had discussed that she wanted to be cremated, but that was it. My partner saw Distinct Cremations on our local Crematorium website, as they work with them. I didn't want loads of fuss, or to go into an office. Just a lovely personal service. Distinct Cremations went above and beyond in every area. I picked my options on the website, nice and simple, to get an idea of my quote. Then had a lovely discussion on the phone with Dan. We talked about all the options I wanted and he was so thougthful, sincere and genuinely supportive, I was really nicely surprised. It was really simple to put the order through and to pay for. Since then I have had a singluar, regular contact called Grace who looked after me every step of the way. The professionalism and compassion of the staff at Distinct Cremations is second to none. I was informed at every step with what was going to happen. They regularly checked in with me, to make sure I was doing ok. The service and celebrant Carol Porter was incredible. Everything happened exactly as planned. I couldn't have wanted anything better. The ashes were delivered to me at home, I had the standard box for them to be delivered in. The gentleman who delivered them was really kind and compassionate also. They came in a really nice blue box. Thank you for making one of the worst times of my life as easy as it could have been. I would highly recommend Distinct Cremations to everyone. I would definitely use them again myself.
